Cedaren: The City of EGG
EGGTech's home base is the metropolis Cedaren. A massive, lively city that is as diverse as it is large. People of all cultures flock here to live and build their lives, facing struggles and victories of all varieties. Cedaren is a unique place that strives to encompass any and all interests a world of individuals might have, and thanks to this, there is never a dull or empty moment.

The eight guides of EGGTech are, aside from Dr. Kafni himself, the Willy Wonka-esque celebrities of Cedaren.  They appear on advertisements and commercials, and are forefront in most EGGTech endeavors.

Cedaren is a THRIVING city with a LOW crime rate. Thanks to EGGTech's major influence in the city and the company's security measures, Cedaren has become a veritable utopia with few disasters as of yet.

EGGTech itself is located within the heart of the city and sprawls out across a space equal to several city blocks.

Main Building
"Tall, white, and pristine, the main building is the first structure you see when you arrive at EGGTech, and despite its aged history, it feels as fresh and modern as a newly built skyscraper. It is the point of access one uses to reach other facilities on the premises."

Front Desk
"The front desk is the first thing to greet your arrival through the revolving front doors of the main building. Standing on polished, silver and gold-flecked marble, it is made of the finest oak, stretching from one wall to the other. Two attendants wait to greet and direct you, but the eyes of visitors of the EGGTech facility are almost always drawn to a large, grand and ancient painting of a multi-colored EGG that stands over the desk, its name on a gold plaque worn and faded away."

Nursery
Generously lit and sterilized, the Nursery is a square room with a viewing display for anyone on the outside to see in through and is a state of the art facility with white padded floors and walls, numerous air filters and pristinely sterilized surroundings in order to optimize EGG health. There are also five large mechanical arms in the nursery that move EGGs and also help decrease the chances of accidental imprinting. On the sides of the room are an assortment of pens to keep the EGGs categorized in by stat and to help meet their requirements with what they may need be it dimmer lighting or temperature change. The nursery is also inaccessible to those without proper classification and authorization.

Day Care Center
Being a large brightly coloured and decorated room, the daycare is anything and everything you would expect a daycare to be. Scattered with toys and gymnastic foam obstacles to meet different EGG stat needs, don't be fooled, these items were specifically designed to be EGG friendly and are retardant to fire, water and whatever your EGG may dish out. The floors and walls are padded for extra precautions, while play pens for smaller EGGs who aren't yet capable of being exposed to larger or rougher playing EGGs can be placed until ready. In a side room there's a pen similar to those found in the nursery that holds the unhatched EGGs, and is also padded and sterilized so to not be a hazard to the owners imprinted EGG. Lighting sources and electrical plug ins have also been capped and covered with bullet proof glass just to continue the assurance that EGGs are protected by anything that may harm them.

Interview Rooms and Main Offices
"For simplicity's sake, interview rooms are simple, mostly unfurnished rooms with long tables and somewhat uncomfortable metal and rubber chairs that give off a strong aura of business professionalism. The main offices are less drab, usually painted warmer colors, but are no more interesting on their own."

EGGTech Laboratories
"Genetic laboratories dedicated to the research and development of EGGs. Only researchers and EGGTech staff are allowed in here. Technologically top-notch, a sanitary and stable environment filled with researchers and EGGs alike, both working together to bring to light a better understanding of each other."

Evolution Chamber

"A huge, circular, underground room encased in several thick layers of plexiglass. The lights inside are so bright that one cannot see to the other side. Stepping into this chamber is similar to stepping into a blank matrix, flooded with white light from all around. Owners are not allowed inside, only the EGG itself, ushered in and out by the head researcher. This chamber is large enough to fit any EGG, and is surrounded by supercomputers meant for triggering the evolution sequence."

Staff Offices
"Individual offices meant for the hard working Guides and important staff members. Each has their own flair of personality, boasting the thumbprint of their owners thanks to the full permission from Dr. Kafni to refurbish the rooms however they please. The only requirements set were the placement of a desk with a computer system, chairs, and storage cabinet for student files. Stepping into a Guide's office is stepping into their home away from home."

Staff Lounge
"Though labeled as the 'Staff Lounge', this large room is big enough to be open to many, and usually is. With a low ceiling, soft walls, and plush carpet, it's deep, all-encompassing, moon-shaped maroon leather couches beckon the behinds of weary Guides and pencil-pushing office workers alike. Beanbag chairs are tossed into the corners, and at the back is a simple table holding the finest coffeemaker money can buy, flanked with two tall, softly resonating speakers. The lights are dim, and the walls are thick. It is the perfect place for just what it's for; lounging."

Strength Training Field
"The Strength Training Field is, for all intensive purposes, an enormous green, unpainted football field, equipped with stadium-style seating that serve as overhangs to protect various sheds and containers that are loaded with training equipment. The grass is kept short and clear of debris when not in use."

Defense Dome
"With a plethora of funds in the hands of Dr. Kafni, no expense has been too great for the EGG Empire, and the Defense Dome is a good representation of the limits he will stretch to suit the company's needs. The Defense Dome is essentially a large, covered concrete coliseum built like a Defense EGG itself to withstand and endure the elements and the creatures within it."

Agility Track
"A typical track and field meant for foot races and cardio training. The track itself is a three-mile run, and is wide enough to accommodate even the most broad-shouldered EGGs. It is an open field with no roof save for a shelter of benches and tables with an awning. There is ample equipment available in covered storage bins next to the rest tables. There is also a drink station to provide hydration in the hot sun."

Intelligence Library
"No expenses were withheld when it came to the wealth of knowledge. EGGTech boasts the most advanced and up-to-date texts in it's library. With eight stories of books and research material, it is easily the most successful library in the entire city. Books of all kinds are stored here and kept open for public use. There are also historic artifacts kept in vaults below the building itself, and are only available for the most prestigious of researchers. A friendly-looking cafe greets visitors at the entrance, and there are plush chairs and tables to sit at and read."

Death Energy Warehouses
"A collection of abandoned buildings set aside from EGGTech's main premises that once served as the EGGTech Research Facility. Cleared of all of its equipment, it holds the air of an aged, empty, many-floored warehouse and is used almost exclusively as a training area for Death Energy EGGs."

Life Energy Medical Center
"A teaching clinic where EGGs and LE students learn how to heal the hurt and the ailing.  It is used for injured EGGs and humans with EGG-related injuries, and is primarily out-patient.  The ER is open 24/7, however, and welcomes in any patient, but if they do not fall into one of those two categories the patient is outsourced to other Cedaren hospitals once they are stable."

Elemental Energy Reserve
"Filled with unique plants created by EGGTech's own earth elemental Guide EGG. The river stems off and cuts straight through the reserve, a place for preserving and respecting nature in its finest. There is a tall waterfall, and a pool of crystal-clear water below it. Trees stretch high into the sky in their unhindered glory, and there is a series of thin towers resembling birdhouses peeking over the canopy. Citronella torches line the walkways to make for a relaxing getaway."

E.T.S. Maintenance and Storage Facilities

"Despite the large size of the E.T.S. bots, their bodies are designed to fold and fit together like pieces of a puzzle, allowing for optimum storage. The storage facility is essentially a winding channel of narrow and dark passageways where dormant E.T.S. bots are folded up against and into the walls, like weapons on a rail ready for distribution. Each end of the hallway ends in small, but complex workshops for maintenance."

Security Desk
"The Security Desk is a calling point for all capable battle-ready EGGs and E.T.S. Four attendants stand like armored bank tellers, waiting and ready in booths shielded by mesh fencing to dispatch out a call for the defense of EGGTech. Behind this wall is the station where the various officers work out of, and though simple, it is efficient, located in the heart of the building itself."

Recording Studio
"The studio that brings you news of the daily grind.  There will be news flashes reporting EGGTech activities and city-wide events and even perhaps emergency broadcast. Inside are bright colors and knick-knacks tactfully scattered around a sound mixer and cases and cases of music."

Oversized EGG Dormitories
"The Oversized EGG Dormitories are warehouses built for comfortable housing of any EGG that stands taller (or longer) than 10 feet. The warehouses are built like stables, holding inside a single, blank room that may be customized however the EGG and its owner pleases. They are built as needed in a separate neighborhood facility away from the main premises."

Recreational Facilities
"The term 'recreational facility' is merely a fancy word for garden and pond here at EGGTech. Located within a courtyard visible from the back of the main building, it is a series of connected, gently curling paths that twine about a rock-statue garden, a koi pond, and a wide variety of local trees and flowers. It is well-maintained and kept neat."

Event Hall
The large building sports indoor pillars, a stage and dance floor, and is used for press conferences and EGGTech events.  It is closed and locked when not in use.

EGG'd Shop
EGG'd is EGGTech's official EGG shop.  Located adjacent to the EGG's main lobby, it sells collars, leashes, bedding, premium EGGfood blends, egg carrying satchels, toys, postcards, clothing, knick knacks and more: merchandise of all kinds, specifically geared toward the EGGtech owners and their special pets.
